The Characters

Hey everybody, since the BOG are just over two weeks away, I decided it was time for people to begin to prepare.  Since TV icons was the leading vote-getter, that's what we've decided to go with.  As an added twist, each person will have a power that their character possesses that they may use 1 time during the BOG.  Each character's power will have the same consequence, which is 30 seconds of their opponent not being allowed to do anythng.  An example of when this would be advantageous is if we play charades, as soon as the other team's turn begins, the character may use their power and the other team must wait for 30 seconds before they can start acting.  You must choose wisely when you use your power, however, as you may only use it once.  I apologize that in my description of each character, some people have videos while others have pictures.  Good clips from some shows were too hard to find.  So without further buildup, I give you your characters.

Jennie: Chloe O'Brian

Chloe is known for her loyalty to Jack, her computer savvy, and her feistiness as exhibited in the above picture.  Chloe's power during the BOG will be whenever she crosses her arms and gives the look of terror, whoever she is competing against will be so intimidated that they cannot do anything for 30 seconds. 

Kayla - Elliot Reid

Elliot is known for her book smarts, her on again off again relationship with JD, and her quirkiness.  Her power during the BOG is that whenever she yells something super high pitched and completely not understandable, her opponents will be so confused that they cannot bring themselves to do anything for 30 seconds.

Ashley - Elaine Benes

Elaine is known for her intelligence, her penchant for getting revenge on people, and her on again off again with David Putty.  Her power during the BOG is that whenever she busts out her dance of thumbs and kicks, her competitors are so astounded that they can't act for 30 seconds.

Alex - Johnny Drama

Drama is known for being Vince's older brother, thinking that he is the man, and wearing sleeveless shirts.  His BOG power is that whenever he yells Victory, he gains a victory over the other team for 30 seconds during which they can't move or act.

Stina - Monica Gellar/Bing

Monica is known for being obsessed with cleanliness, being Ross's sister and Chandler's husband, and being a chef.  Her BOG power is that she thrives under pressure or in lightning rounds, so whenever she shows somebody her steady hand, they buckle under the pressure and can't do anything for 30 seconds.

Maggie - Pam Beasley/Halpert

Pam is known for her relationship with Jim, being a good artist, and pulling lots of pranks.  Her power at the BOG is that whenever she picks up a phone and says "Dunder Mifflin this is Pam," her competitors have been pranked for 30 seconds.

Dave - Zack Morris

Zack is known for being the coolest kid in school, a prankster, and his sweet cell phone.  His BOG power is that he may call a time out at any time, and nobody can do anything for 30 seconds.

Chris - Barney Stinson

Apparently that video is a little bigger than the others.  Barney Stinson is known for being awesome, suiting up, and always staying legen-wait for it-dary.  His BOG power is that whenever he yells Suit Up! everybody else must take 30 seconds to don their finest suits.

Katie - Kate Austen

Kate is known for being a badass, having a criminal past, and being the interest of both Jack and Sawyer (although I don't watch so I don't remember for sure.)  Her BOG power is that when she simulates a bomb blowing up with her hands, everybody else must take cover for 30 seconds.

So those are all of the charaters, and I hope you have fun preparing for them.  As always, we encourage dressing up and perhaps having some of your characters' catch phrases or behaviors ready as well.  Keep thinking about what games you'd like to play, and this should be a good time.  Only 16 days until the 3rd BOG!
